- SHE KILLED THE MUSES -
The word "Entartung" has been setup as a sociologically and linguistic taboo that remains unspoken in the contemporary German language. "Entartet" was the "bad art" that the Nazis declared to be useless to the conceptualization of the ideal for a master race and culture. However, one may also think about the word "Entartung" (artlessness) at the view of Germany's lack of charisma in all that relates to the production of art after WWII.
The German film industry produces widely spread boredom, most art galleries aren't a place where the people go to find inspiration, the art schools are not focused on teaching any excellence in the technique, but instead those are institutions where some Professors can go to await for their retirement in the comfortable tenure that the state provides. The art in general is one of the less important concepts pertaining to the ideal of wealth, avarice and evil spirit that has been implanted in the culture as any legacy of the German dehumanization -which can be seen as Karma.
Germania is the worst case scenario for the arts, because the ideal of Beauty has been dysrupted. There is not much going on for the creative individuals either, unless your name is Paul Klee and you are dead and your paintings belong to a German state collection managed by dry and useless tenured state officials, also known as "Beamte" (state-based art corporationism that resulted from the opportunism that was formed right after the War).
Germania killed Artemis, she exterminated life and love in the culture that she was supposed to nourish. Along came then Adolf Hitler with his cronies, lobbying for the national socialist art. They set arson upon the temples of Beauty that Goethe and Schiller had erected. Decay became culture, and at the present the German art only resembles the cultural misery, chaos and drama that this insane female warrior brought upon her self.
The heartless Germania tortures you with the hope of killing you. Only, if you are very strong, and she sees that she couldn't harm you... she'll let you go. "Germania" is heartlessness. Germania is vileness shaped female. But, beware: When she lost her war and killed all the Nibelungs in the tent of Attila, Germania migrated to the world. Her hardness threatens those who love life. In her womb are found the innumerable dead babies who lost the strength to cry, after they were starved into silence. Germania is jealous of anything that lives, moves, sings, dances and loves life. She keeps having sexual intercourse with Mammon, but all the fetuses are born dead.
